Comfort of the Promise

Today we begin the season of Advent - a time of preparing, waiting, listening, and serving as we hear the promise of the one God is sending, has sent as a baby to bring hope, peace, joy and love to a broken world. Our focus today is finding comfort in the promise God made to the Israelites and all of us to be here for us, walk with us through our troubles, pardon our failure and help us discover real joy in the one God has sent us, Jesus.
